Blanco Named G-MAC Player of the Week

Senior Carlos Blanco was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week on April 10.

Blanco led the Oilers to a pair of wins last week by going 2-0 in both singles and doubles competitions.

In the Oilers 8-1 win over Cedarville, Blanco scored a 6-2, 6-3 win in No. 2 singles action and teamed with Nicholas Kopylec to win 8-4 in No. 1 doubles. He then scored a 6-2, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles competition during Findlay's 7-2 victory against Davis & Elkins and teamed with Kopylec to claim a 9-7 win in No. 1 doubles action.
