Vicars, Rowland and Charnigo Win at Moncton

Several  past and present members of the Oilers track and field team competed in the Moncton Hub City Classic in Canada on Thursday, July 5.

100 athletes from 15 countries competed in the event and the Oilers showed well as Derrick Vicars captured first place in the shot put at 18.32 meters.

Jessica Rowland captured first place in the hammer throw at 63.07 while former star Stephanie Charnigo was the top placer in the 1,500-meter run after crossing the finish line in 4:14.
