Both Track Programs Earn Academic Honors
Both the Oilers men and women's track and field teams earned NCAA Division II All-Academic honors as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their annual academic awards on July 24.
The men's team had the fifth highest grade point average among NCAA Division II teams for the 2012-13 season while the women were the 18th best in the nation.
The men finished the year with a GPA of 3.29 while the women sported a 3.42 GPA.
