Oilers Place 10th at All-Ohio Championship

The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams wrapped up the All-Ohio Championship on Friday, Oct. 4 in Cedarville, Ohio.  The women finished fourth while the men posted a tenth place finish.

Alexa Stults led the women by taking fourth with a time of 23:00.16 while Melanie Ruich was tenth at 23:30.93.

Samantha Grippe added a 20th place finish with a time of 24:30.48 and Samantha Hassen placed 29th with a time of 25:04.70.

Erica Bettac (25:07.35), McKenzie Mahlmeister (25:26.76) and Erin Reinhart-Anez (26:51.78) also competed for Findlay at the event.

Jacob Hayes paced the men's team and took 30th with a time of 27:02.26.

Reid Wolin (27:33.29), Aaron Cingle (29:41.94), Josh Seedorf (30:39.35), Derek Bornhorst (31:44.11), Seth Pemberton (31:53.99) and Nick Valerio (32:19.15) also competed for the Oilers at the championship.

The Oilers will run again on Oct. 18 at the Wilimington Fall Classic in Wilmington, Ohio.
