Oilers Race at the GLIAC Championship

Results

The University of Findlay men's cross country team competed at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships in on October, 26 held in Houghton, Michigan.

The Oilers placed 14th of 15 competing teams scoring 383 points. Grand Valley State brought home the championship with a total of 21 points. The Lakers placed six runners in the top ten.

Findlay was paced by Jacob Hayes who finished the race in 48th place of 102 runners. The junior clocked a 27:00.

Others running for the Oilers were sophomore Derek Bornhorst (74th, 27:58), freshman Reid Wolin (77th, 28:07), freshman Josh Seedorf (89th, 28:51), freshman Seth Pemberton (95th, 29:15), junior Shane Stein (101st, 30:06), and freshman Aaron Cingle (30:42).

Findlay will be back in action for the Division 2 Regional held in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The men will run at 12:30pm.
