Softball Adds Six Players
Six players signed letters of intent to continue their softball careers at Findlay beginning next fall.
Ohio players Riley Kiesling, Nicole Motuza, Marina Snipes and Bonnie Zappitelli will join Alyssa Kashat and Taylor VanRiper from Michigan.
Kiesling plays outfield for North Canton Hoover, the defending State Champions in Division 1. Motuza pitches and plays outfield at Willoughby South, has twice earned first-team all-conference, and has been named a Plain Dealer and News Herald Player-of-the-Week. Snipes plays second base for Newton and started as a sophomore on their 2010 State Championship team. Zappitelli pitches and plays infield for Lake Catholic, has been named first-team all-conference three times, and was named an ESPN High School Player-of the-Week for the Midwest.
Kashat catches for Ladywood in Livonia and has been named all-league, all-district, all-region, and all-area. VanRiper plays first base and outfield for Chelsea, winning both conference and district titles last season.
