The University of Findlay softball team lost a pair of games at Wayne State on Wednesday, April 18. The Oilers fell 5-0 in the first game and then lost 7-3 in the second game to give them a 22-19 mark on the 2012 season and a 13-13 record in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Jenna Motuza and Lauren Mathais each recorded two hits and Tori Allen added a single for the Oilers in game one.

Brittany Dauterman sported the loss, giving up five runs on nine hits in four innings of work.

In the second game, Tawna Whited was saddled with the loss after allowing seven runs on eight hits and three walks. Whited fanned four batters in her seven innings on the mound.

Motuza, Dauterman and Emily Stewart had two base hits each in game two. Stewart and Dauterman both added an RBI for Findlay.

The Oilers will travel to Ohio Dominican for a twinbill on Friday, April 20, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
