Findlay Picks Up Two More Wins In Florida

The University of Findlay softball team added two more victories on Friday, March 8 in Clermont, Fla. The Oilers knocked off Hannibal - LeGrange 8-1 and then defeated Bloomfield by a score of 12-9 in the second contest of the day.

Nicole Motuza took the victory in game one, giving up only three hits and one run in her seven innings on the mound.

Emily Reynolds sparked the Oiler offense with two singles, a home run, and two RBI.

Carly Borders and Brittany Dauterman each generated a homer in the first game.

Dauterman picked up the win over Bloomfield in relief of Bonnie Zappitelli and Tawna Whited.

Borders added another home run on the day along with two singles and two RBI. Morgan Arnold also went long distance in the Oilers 12-9 victory over Bloomfield.
