The University of Findlay softball team split a twin bill against Urbana and Winona State on March 9 in Clermont, Fla. The Oilers defeated Urbana by a score of 6-2 and lost 7-1 to Winona State.
In the win over Urbana, Tawna Whited threw a complete game to pick up the victory and added five strikeouts.
Emily Reynolds had two singles and a run batted in while Whited helped her cause with a single and a RBI.
Bonnie Zappitelli took the loss against Winona State while Courtney Dwyer led the offense with a pair of singles.
The Oilers now stand at 6-3 on the season.
