Oilers Lose Doubleheader Against Ohio Dominican

The University of Findlay women's softball team traveled to Columbus, Ohio for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader against Ohio Dominican on Friday, March 28.  The Oilers lost the first game 4-2 and lost the second game 4-2.  The doubleheader loss gives the Oilers an 8-5 mark on the season. 

In the first game, Megan Turner led the offense for the Oilers finishing the game with a single and two RBI.  Courtney Dwyer added a double in the contest while Emily Reynolds had two singles. 

Tawna Whited picked up the loss on the mound, giving up four runs in seven innings. 

In the second game, Courtney Dwyer led the offense for the Oilers finishing the game with a double, single, one run scored and a RBI.  Tori Allen added an RBI in the contest. 

Nicole Motuza picked up the loss on the mound, giving up four runs in six innings. 

The Oilers return to the field on Sunday, March 30 when they face Tiffin University for a doubleheader in Tiffin, Ohio.
