Defense and pitching played a big role in game one, with the first hit not being recorded by either team until the bottom of the third inning from the bat of Amanda Delmonte.

Oilers struck first on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth with Rebecca Harvey delivering a leadoff homerun over the center field fence.

After two quick outs, Senior Madison Arnold kept the inning going with a single to left centerfield.

With two outs and a runner on second, Harvey smacked a walk-off homerun over the scoreboard in left centerfield to give the Oilers the 4-2 victory in dramatic fashion.
