The University of Findlay softball team won their second game of the day in Rosemont, Ill. as they defeated Illinois-Springfield 6-4 on Feb. 22.
With the scored tied at 4-4 at the end of the seventh, Caroline Turner drove in Devyn Zuro to break the tie and Salwa Al-Hajabed scored on fielder's choice later in the inning to give Findlay a two-run victory.
Rebecca Harvey finished the game with two hits while Rachel Vaner Roest also clubbed two hits. Allison Brunner finished with a hit, two runs batted in, and a run scored, while Carly Brandon picked up the victory by allowing four runs in 4.1 innings of work.
