Oilers Drop Two to Arrows

Pepper Pike, Ohio – The University of Findlay softball fell to Ursuline College in their double header on April 13. Findlay's record is now 16-16 on the season and 6-6 in the conference.

Game 1 | L 6-7  (Box Score)

Senior Amanda DelMonte went 3 for 4 against the Arrows, scoring one run and batting in three runners.

Sophomore Dylan Wiley went 2 for 4, scored two runs, and recorded one RBI, while junior Allison Brunner went 1 for 3, scored one run, and recorded one RBI.

Junior Emily Barr and sophomore Sadie Gearhart each scored one run for the Oilers.

Senior Hailey Bryan pitched six innings, recorded four strikeouts, and allowed 13 hits and seven runs.

Carly Brandon pitched only .1 innings, and walked two batters.

DelMonte went 1 for 3 behind the plate in game two, while junior Lauren Linn went 1 for 2.

Sophomore Megan Fisher pitched five innings for the Oilers, recorded two strikeouts and allowed six hits.

Sophomore Caragyn Yanek pitched the last 1.2 innings, and allowed two hits and one run.

The Oilers are back in action on April 19 in Owensboro, Ky. with a double header versus Kentucky Wesleyan starting at 12:00pm.
