Tim Babcock enters his 14th year as an Oilers assistant coach in the 2024 season. He has been associated with fastpitch softball for over 40 years as a player and coach.

While serving as the head softball coach at Findlay High School for eight seasons, the Trojans won three league titles and made a regional appearance. Previous to that, Babcock had served for six seasons as a Trojan girls' basketball assistant coach.

Babcock is retired from Marathon Petroleum and resides in Findlay with his wife, Sonja. The couple has two adult children, Blake and Brooke, who were both collegiate student-athletes. They have five grandchildren.
