Oilers Set 2 New School Records On Final Day Of NCAA Championships

The University of Findlay had three swimmers and one diver compete on the final day of the NCAA championships, which took place on Saturday, March 14 in Indianapolis, Indiana.   

Jessica Ward took 17th place in the 200 yard backstroke finishing with a time of 2:02.21. 

Ashleigh Weddington took 12th place on the three meter board and established a new school record with a score of 426.15.  Her 12th place finish earned her All-American honors and she is the first diver to earn Division II All-American honors for the University of Findlay.    

Emma Barnes claimed an 11th place finish in the 200 yard backstroke with a time just off the school record of 2:00.46.  Her 11th place finish earned her All-American honors in the event. 

Janko Radmanovic tied for 43rd place in the 100 yard freestyle and set a new school record with a time of 45.65.
