Swimming Competes in Saginaw

The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving teams competed in a dual meet against Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 15 in University Center, Mich.

On the men's side, Janko Radmanovic led the way by winning three events. He took home gold in the 100-yard freestyle (46.57), 100-yard butterfly (50.15) and 200-yard butterfly (1:54.59).

Nathan Ladetto added a victory in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:03.17 while the Oilers 200-yard freestyle relay team of Nick Kaftan, Cody Craig, Alex Matthews and Isaac Stretch were victorious in their event after crossing the line in 1:29.26.

On the women's side, Hanna Cederholm claimed first place honors in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:15.88. The Oilers 200-yard freestyle relay team of Amanda Stiegal, Lauren Blanchard, Julia Snell and Olivia Wile also claimed first, crossing the line in 1:40.07.

The Oilers will return to the pool again on Oct. 22 when they participate in a dual meet against Ashland in Ashland, Ohio.
