The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Bellarmine University on Saturday, January 20. The men and women were both victorious during the meet, with the men winning 135-124 while the women won 166-92.

The women received 11 first place finishes during the dual.

Amanda Stiegal took three solo first place finishes. She achieved a 25.00 time in the 50 yard free, recorded 1:57.55 in the 200 yard free, and a time of 5:24.99 in the 500 free.

Hanna Cederholm had two solo first place finishes during the day. She won the 100 yard breast with a time of 1:05.99 and also took the 200 yard breast with a time of 2:22.74.

Ashton Klopp won the 200 yard fly while recording a time of 2:12.81.

The 200 yard backstroke was taken by Emma Barnes with a time of 2:09.63, a new season-best.

Sydney Zimdars was victorious in the 1650 yard free, finishing with an 18:24.37 time.

Kathryn Samuelson recorded a time of 1:00.51 to take the 100 yard backstroke.

The women also won two relay races during the meet.

Taking the 400 yard medley was the team of Samuelson, Cederholm, Katy Kouvaris, and Lauren Blanchard with at time of 3:59.79.

The 200 yard free relay was won by Stiegal, Cederholm, Blanchard, and Julia Snell.

The men received six first place finishes on the day.

Janko Radmanovic led the pack by taking the 200 yard free with a time of 1:44.03 and the 500 free with a time of 4:48.80.

Ben Rath won the 1650 yard free with a time of 16:40.41.

The 50 yard free was won by Trent Williams with a time of 22.29.

Conner Whitaker was victorious in the 100 yard fly by recording a time of 52.99.

The men also won the 200 yard free relay with the team of Williams, Whitaker, Isaac Stretch, and Nathan Bourne.

The Oilers will be back in the sink Friday, January 26 when they host the Tiffin Dragons.
