Swimming to Send Multiple Athletes to Nationals

The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving teams will be sending a number of individuals to the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship, which will take place on March 14-17 in Greensboro, N.C.

On the women's side, Hanna Cederholm qualified for the championship event in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke. Her qualifying time in the 100 was 1:03.03 and her time in the 200 was 2:17.71.

Emma Barnes also qualified for the championship in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:01.79 while Hannah May and Alicia Solis reached the diving qualification round as well.

Barnes has twice been named an All-American while Cederholm has earned the honor once.

On the men's side, Janko Radmanovic was invited to the event after qualifying in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard butterfly. Radmanovic had a qualifying time of 47.95 in the 100 and 1:46.52 in the 200.

Radmanovic is a four-time All-American for the Oilers.

In addition, the Oilers will swim in three relay events. The women's squad will compete in the 200 and 400-yard medley relays as well as the 200-yard freestyle relay.
