Oilers Finish Day 2 of Calvin College Invite

Grand Rapids, MI – The University of Findlay men and women's swimming and diving teams completed day two of the Calvin College Invitational on Friday, November 30. Session 2 began at 10:00 AM.

Hanna Cederholm had a great performance in the 100 yard breaststroke, achieving a B-cut standard time of 1:03.15 and taking first place.

Kendra Polewski hit a B-cut standard time swimming the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.62. She also took first place in the event. Right behind her in third and fourth place were Chris MacFarland and Amanda Stiegal, who also hit B-cut standard times with 23.82 and 23.84 respectively.

Session 3 began at 6:00 PM.

Cederholm took second place in the 100 yard breaststroke finals, again achieving a B-cut standard with a time of 1:03.40.

MacFarland took third place in the 100 yard backstroke finals, hitting a B-cut standard time of 56.22.

In the 50 yard freestyle finals, Polewski took first with a B-cut standard time of 23.87. Stiegal came in right behind her for second place with a B-cut standard time of 23.93.

Dalton Shevlin came in second in the 3 meter diving finals with a score of 345.60. Tyler Adkins finished in third with a score of 289.60.

The Oilers will compete in the final day of the Calvin College Invite on Saturday, December 1 starting at 10:00 AM.
