Trevia Gumbs Named Athlete of the Week

Findlay, OH - Junior Trevia Gumbs has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Female Field Athlete of the Week after a stellar performance at the Findlay Meet for Everyone which took place on Feb. 17. It is the first time in her career that Trevia has earned this award.

In the weight throw, Gumbs took second place with a personal-best toss of 19.48m (63'11"), an automatic qualifier for the NCAA DII National Championship meet. That throw is good for fourth in the GLIAC this season and seventh in the nation. She also participated in the shot put where she set a personal-best with a throw of 13.48m (44'2.75").
