Glass Headed to Finals

The University of Findlay track and field teams wrapped up day two of the 2017 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, March 10.

Junior Milani Glass booked her trip to the finals in the 60 meter hurdles with a seventh place (8.55) finish in the prelims. The 60 meter hurdle finals will take place on Saturday, March 11 at 3:15 p.m.

After finishing 11th in the 60 meter hurdles and 7th in the pole vault, junior Trey Everett was sitting in 4th place heading into the final event of the heptathlon. In the 1000 meter run, Everett tripped and was disqualified in the last event, dropping him to 13th with a total of 4,523 points.

Also competing tomorrow will be junior Alex DeVincentis in the women's shot put at 2:30 p.m., senior Ben Hahler in the men's shot put at 3:30 p.m. and the men's 4x400 meter relay team consisting of sophomore George Effah, freshman Lenell Shelby III, senior Derek Collins and junior Sergi Torres is set to start at 6:35 p.m.
