Bradenton, FL - The University of Findlay track and field teams wrapped up their 2017 season on the final day of the Division II National Championship in Bradenton, Florida on May 27. 

Alex DeVincentis, a junior for Findlay, earned seventh place in the shot put, earning a second consecutive all-American award in the event. Last season, she earned all-American status in both the shot put and the discus throw. On Saturday, DeVincentis' sixth and final throw was her best of the day and measured 14.95m (49' 3/4"). Sophomore Holly Averesch was also in the event and took 15th with a toss of 14.18m (46'6 1/4").

Junior Milani Glass earned her first outdoor all-American award in the 100m hurdles. Yesterday, she earned a spot in the finals and today, took eighth place with a time of 14.19, just a half second out of the top four.

Senior Ben Hahler took home eighth place in the shot put, earning all-American for the third straight season in the event. His fourth throw was his best, a toss that measured 17.22m (56'6"). It is the fifth time in Hahler's career, indoor and outdoor combined, that he has earned all-American.
