Findlay Women Ranked 6th | Men 14th

Both of the Oilers indoor track and field teams are ranked in the top-25 of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Preseason NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Nov. 30.

The women's team will begin the year ranked sixth in the nation while the men will start ranked 14th.

The women's team will be paced by their throwers as senior Tynelle Gumbs is ranked first nationally in the weight throw at 21.45 meters. Her twin sister, Trevia, is ranked third in the event as well at 19.48 meters.

Senior Alex DeVincentis is ranked in the top-10 nationally in two events. She is ranked fifth in the shot put at 15.31 meters and is also ranked ninth in the weight throw at 18.18 meters.

The men will be led by junior Austin Combs, who is ranked second nationally in the weight throw at 20.44 meters.

The Oilers will begin their season on Dec. 8-9 when they host their annual Oiler Opener in the Malcolm Athletic Center.
