Findlay, Ohio - For a second consecutive week, a pair of Oilers' throwers have earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Field Athlete of the Week. Junior Austin Combs and senior Alex DeVincentis have each earned the honor after stellar performances at the Findlay Classic & Elite Throws Competition.

Competing in the ELITE weight throw, Combs launched a throw that measured 21.38m (70-01.75) which is a new personal best. That distance also sets a new conference record, breaking his own record from a week ago, and is the second-best throw in the country this season.

On the women's side, DeVincentis took part in the ELITE shot put and had recorded a throw of 15.18m (49-09.75) which set a new league record. The provisional qualifying throw ranks sixth in the country this season.
