7 Earn All-Region Honors from USTFCCCA

The University of Findlay men and women's indoor track and field teams had a combined seven individuals receive all-region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Feb. 26.

On the men's side, Austin Combs earned the honor in the shot put and weight throw. Combs won a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) title in both events last week.

George Effah earned all-region in the 400 meter dash while Martin Etsey captured all-region accolades in the triple jump. Effah was a G-MAC champion in the 400-meter dash while Etsey took second in his event at the conference championship.

Trey Everett earned all-region honors in the heptathlon as well. Everett was named the G-MAC Field Athlete of the Meet at the league championship last weekend.

On the women's side, Alex DeVincentis captured all-region honors in the shot put while Milani Glass earned the honor in the 60-meter hurdles.

DeVincentis was named the G-MAC Field Athlete of the Meet and took home a league title in the shot put while Glass captured runner-up honors in her event at the conference meet.
