Lovell Earns Athlete of the Week
Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released the Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, April 10. Findlay junior Dequan Lovell came away with Field Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance at the Western Kentucky Hilltopper Relays.
Lovell took second place in the shot put with an outdoor personal best throw of 17.14m (56-3). That toss is the 12th-best in the country this season and set a new Great Midwest Athletic Conference record by more than 1.1 meters.
In the hammer throw, the native of Bridgetown, Barbados also set a new personal best with a distance of 50.14m (164-6).
