Oilers Complete First Day of Polar Bear Invitational

Results

The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field teams completed the first day of the Polar Bear Invitational today in Ada, Ohio on April 20.

Men

In the men's hammer throw, junior Dequan Lovell threw for 50.50m (165-08.00) to earn third place.

Women

The Oiler women took two of the top three spots in the women's hammer throw. Sophomore Hannah Hahler won second place with a distance of 49.25m (161-07.00). Senior Alex DeVincentis took third place in the event, throwing for 47.89m (157-01.00).

In the women's javelin throw, junior Sabrina Bailey threw for 27.32m (89-07.00) to earn fourth place.
