Oilers Complete Day 1 at G-MAC Championship

The University of Findlay men and women's outdoor track and field teams began the 2018 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship on May 3 in Hillsdale, Mich.

On the men's side, Trey Everett competed in several of the decathlon events and is currently in first place. He took first in the 100-meter dash (11.24), long jump (7.21m), shot put (12.16m) and high jump (2.09m). He also finished second in the 400-meter dash at 52.04. His leap in the high jump was a NCAA Division II provisional mark as well.

In addition, Jonathan Allen took fifth in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:07.90
