Top-10 Individual Performances | #7 Alex DeVincentis

The 2017-18 athletic season at Findlay was one of the best in school history as multiple athletes and teams saw success at both the conference and national level. The UF media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

#7 | Alex DeVincentis | Women's Indoor & Outdoor Track and Field

A native of Findlay, Ohio, Alex DeVincentis capped her incredible career in fine fashion by accumulating a number of personal honors.

DeVincentis earned a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) title in the shot put during the indoor campaign and was named all-league in the shot put and weight throw. Her efforts at the conference championship earned her G-MAC Athlete of the Meet accolades. She later went on to secure all-region and all-American honors in the shot put during the indoor season.

In outdoor competition, DeVincentis won a league title in the discus and was named all-conference in the event. She also earned all-region accolades in the shot put and discus and competed in both events at the national championship.
