Wymer, Dilon, and Woelber Join Oilers' Track & Field and Cross Country Programs

Findlay, Ohio – On Tuesday, July 10, the University of Findlay athletic department announced the hiring of Bree Woelber, Eric Wymer, and Clint Dilon as coaches in the track and field and cross country programs with Woelber and Wymer serving as full-time coaches and Dilon serving on a part-time basis.

"We are very excited to have these three individuals join us at Findlay and cannot wait to see the results of their work", said Findlay's Director of Athletics, Brandi Laurita. "They each were talented college athletes, but have shown an ability to share their knowledge of their respective disciplines with current student-athletes in a professional manner. We believe their youth and experience will help energize, not only our track and field and cross country programs, but our athletic department as a whole."

Woelber, who will coach jumps and multi events at Findlay, comes to the Oilers after two years as a graduate assistant at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Prior to her time as a GA, Woelber was an all-American high jumper at Augustana, earning fifth in the high jump at the National Championship meet in 2016. She was also her league's Field Athlete of the Year that season. Before heading to South Dakota, Woelber spent three years competing at Iowa State where she became just the third heptathlete in Cyclone history to eclipse the 5,000-point mark, scoring 5,058 at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship.

Wymer will coach the Oilers' distance runners and will also play a large role in the training of Findlay's cross-country team. A graduate of Ohio Northern University, Wymer spend the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Malone University. While at ONU, Wymer was a first team all-conference performer and helped guide the Polar Bears to a conference title in his senior season. This past season at Malone, Wymer helped lead the men's cross country team to a second place finish at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) meet while the women took third.

Serving on a part-time basis will be Clint Dilon who will coach Findlay's pole vaulters. Dilon is a 2005 graduate of Bluffton University where he was a conference champion in 2002 an all-American and three-time qualifier for the Division III National Championship meet. He has spent five years as an assistant coach at Bluffton and is also a business and technology teacher at Arlington High School.
