Bio

Nicole Burlinson, of Darlington, Great Britain, is entering her second year as a graduate assistant for the Oilers and will work with distance runners in the track and field and cross country programs. 

Burlinson is a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame College (OH) where she graduated with a degree in sports management. While at Findlay, she will pursue her master's degree in business administration. Prior to Notre Dame, she attended and ran for Ursuline College.

In the fall of 2016, Burlinson was able to compete for the Oilers on the cross-country team and she became the first female runner to earn all-GLIAC honors in ten years.

While at Notre Dame, she was named all-region in cross-country and was the 2015 Mountain East Conference champion.

At Ursuline College, Burlinson set 12 track and field records (nine indoor and three outdoor) in her three years. Twice she earned first team all-American honors while qualifying for the national championship meet three times. She earned three all-region awards, six Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) individual championships, and was the 2014 G-MAC Track Athlete of the Year.

In 2013, she competed at the British Track and Field Championships and Olympic Qualifying meet.
