Oilers Pound Panthers 74-51

The University of Findlay women's basketball team captured a 74-51 win over Ohio Dominican University on Saturday, December 18 in Croy Gymnasium. The win gives the Oilers a 7-2 record on the season with a 3-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers shot 52.2 percent (24-of-46) from the floor and drilled 22-of-25 (88%) shots from the free throw line. They also held the Panthers to a 25 percent (17-of-68) shooting clip in the victory.

Junior guard Clare Aubry led the team with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a career-high four blocks while junior guard Laura Bardall chipped in 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Freshman guard Saira House added a career-high 12 points to go along with four rebounds, four assists and a pair of steals while sophomore forward Tai Dotson contributed a season-high 12 points and seven boards.

The Panthers were led by Abby Glover's 15 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on December 29 when they face Puerto Rico-Bayamon at 3 pm in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
