Wildcats Top Oilers 68-55

The University of Findlay women's basketball team dropped a 68-55 decision to Northern Michigan University on Saturday, February 5 in Croy Gymnasium. The loss gives the Oilers a 14-5 record on the season with a 9-4 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers shot only 29.6 percent (16-of-54) in the game while the Wildcats drained 52.2 percent (24-of-46) of their field goal attempts.

Junior guard Laura Bardall led the team with 14 points while junior guard Clare Aubry scored 12.

Sophomore forward Kayla Brown added nine points, five rebounds and five steals in the loss.

Chelsea Lyons led the Wildcats with 23 points, ten rebounds and four assists.

Hillary Bowling added 20 points while Staci Beckel scored 15.

The Oilers will be back in action again on February 10 when they host Tiffin University at 8 pm in Croy Gymnasium.
