Chargers Handle Oilers 86-46

The University of Findlay women's basketball team fell 86-46 to Hillsdale College on Thursday, January 20 in Hillsdale, Michigan. The loss gives the Oilers an 11-4 record on the season with a 7-2 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Chargers drilled 13-of-29 (44.8%) three point attempts and out-rebounded the Oilers by a 44-26 margin in the game.

Junior guard Clare Aubry led Findlay's offense with 12 points while freshman guard Saira House tallied ten points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals.

Junior guard Laura Bardall also broke into double figures with ten for the Oilers.

Lea Jones scored a game-high 20 points for Hillsdale while Marissa DeMott came off the bench to pump in 17.

Laura Barczak added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Chargers as well.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they travel to Urbana, Ohio to face Urbana University at 2 pm.
