Oilers Knock Off Lakers 65-41

The University of Findlay women's basketball team defeated Mercyhurst College by a score of 65-41 on Friday, November 19 at the Tiffin Tip-Off Classic in Tiffin, Ohio. The win gives the Oilers a 2-1 record on the season.

Sophomore forward Kayla Brown led the team with a career-high 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting. She drained 4-of-5 shots from three point range and also tallied five rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Freshman guard Saira House added eight points, six steals, five rebounds and three assists while junior guard Laura Bardall and sophomore guard Kendra Elam scored eight.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow against Alderson-Broaddus beginning at 2pm.
