Oilers At Home For 16 Games

The University of Findlay women's basketball team will be in the friendly confines of Croy Gymnasium for 16 games during the 2011-12 campaign as they look for their third straight Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division title.

The Oilers will begin the season in Bowling Green, Ohio for an exhibition game against the Falcons at 7 pm on November 1 before playing ten out of their next 12 games at home.

On November 11, the Oilers will host Slippery Rock University in their first regular season game.  They will then face Notre Dame College (11/16), Tusculum College (11/19), Urbana University (11/23) and Northwood University (12/1) before they hit the road to face Hillsdale College (12/8).

After playing Hillsdale, the Oilers will be back at home to face Saginaw Valley State University (12/10), Tiffin University (12/15) and Ohio Dominican University (12/17).

On December 19, the Oilers will be at Cedarville University before they host their Holiday Tournament on December 29-30.

During the Holiday Tournament, the Oilers will face Missouri S&T (12/29) and Malone University (12/30).

The Oilers begin the month of January on the road at Ashland University (1/5) before facing Wayne State University (1/7) at home.

Findlay will then battle Lake Erie College (1/12) and Wayne State University (1/14) on the road before returning home to take on Hillsdale College (1/19), Lake Erie College (1/26) and Ashland University (1/28).

The month of February begins with a four-game road trip as the Oilers travel to Houghton, Michigan on February 2 to face national runner-up Michigan Technological University.  They will then play Northern Michigan University (2/4), Tiffin University (2/9) and Ohio Dominican University (2/11).

On February 16, the Oilers will face Grand Valley State University in Croy Gymnasium before they battle Ferris State University on February 18 at home as well.

The Oilers will then conclude their regular season on February 25 at Lake Superior State University.
