Oilers Face Falcons in an Exhibition Game

The University of Findlay women's basketball team will begin their season with an exhibition game on Tuesday, November 1 against Bowling Green State University.  The contest is scheduled to begin at 7 pm in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The Series

The Oilers fell 88-41 against the Falcons last year in an exhibition game at Bowling Green.

Clare Aubry led the team with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting while Saira House had eight points, two assists and two rebounds in the game.

Kayla Brown contributed seven points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists while Laura Bardall chipped in six points, four rebounds and four assists.

The Oilers finished last season with a 17-10 record, winning their second consecutive GLIAC South Division title.

Laura Bardall earned first team all-conference honors while Clare Aubry was tabbed second team all-league.

Climbing the Ladder

Senior guard Laura Bardall has scored 1,262 points during her career with the Oilers, ranking eighth all-time.

She is currently trailing Molly Holt for seventh place, who scored 1,264 points from 1998-02.

All-GLIAC

Senior guard Laura Bardall was named first team all-conference last year after averaging 14.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

Senior guard Clare Aubry earned second team all-conference honors last season when she averaged 15.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
