Oilers Drop 71-57 Decision to Hillsdale

The University of Findlay women's basketball team dropped a 71-57 decision to Hillsdale College on Thursday, December 8 in Hillsdale, Michigan.  The loss gives the Oilers a 4-2 record on the season with a 1-1 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

The Oilers struggled to put the ball in the hoop, hitting only 30 percent (18-of-60) of their shots from the field.

Senior guard Clare Aubry led the team with 15 points while junior forward Kayla Brown contributed 13 points and seven rebounds.

Sophomore guard Ashley Andrews also broke into double figures as she contributed ten points during the loss.

The Chargers were led by Lea Jones and Chelsea Harrison, who each scored 18 points.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Saturday when they host Saginaw Valley State University at 1 pm in Croy Gymnasium.
