The University of Findlay women's basketball team saw their season come to a close on Wednesday, Feb. 29 in Big Rapids, Mich. as they fell 68-61 to Ferris State University in the first round of the 2012 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament.  The Oilers end the year with a 15-12 record.

Not giving up easily, the Oilers trimmed the Bulldogs lead to one at 55-54 on a triple from senior guard Clare Aubry with just under five minutes remaining in the contest.

After trading buckets, the Oilers climbed to within three on another three pointer from Aubry with 25 seconds left, but the Bulldogs closed out the game at the free throw line to end Findlay's upset bid.
