The University of Findlay

The University of Findlay women's basketball team had their season come to a close with a 68-61 loss at Ferris State University in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament.

The Oilers took a 30-29 advantage at the break and held a 45-42 lead with just under 12 minutes to play before the Bulldogs went on a 10-0 run to make the score 52-45 with 9:07 left.

Not giving up easily, the Oilers trimmed the Bulldogs lead to one at 55-54 on a triple from Clare Aubry with just under five minutes remaining in the contest.

After trading buckets, the Oilers climbed to within three on another three pointer from Aubry with 25 seconds left, but the Bulldogs closed out the game at the free throw line to end Findlay's upset bid.
