The University of Findlay women's basketball team was picked to finish third in the South Division of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) during the 2015-16 campaign as the league office unveiled their annual preseason poll on Oct. 29.

The Oilers received 84 points in the poll, tying for third with Wayne State. Ashland was picked as the favorite with 113 points and 14 first place votes while Walsh was picked to finish second with 89 points and a pair of first place votes.

In the North Division, Michigan Tech heads into the season as the favorite. They received 110 points in the poll, which included 13 first place votes.

In addition, senior forward Margaret Wuebker was picked as a preseason first team all-conference player. In 2014-15, Wuebker averaged 10.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. She was a second team all-conference pick in 2013-14 when she averaged 12.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest.
