Findlay
The Oilers finished last season with a 15-11 record. They were picked to finish third in the GLIAC South Division this year after receiving 84 points in the preseason poll.
The team will be led by senior forward Margaret Wuebker, who was a preseason first team all-conference pick. Wuebker averaged 10.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. She was a second team all-conference pick in 2013-14 when she averaged 12.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest.
Also returning to lead the Oilers will be junior guard Karli Bonar, who made a school record 71 three pointers last season. Bonar ended her sophomore year by averaging 10.2 points per game.
Toledo
The Rockets finished last season with a 19-14 record. Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott returns to lead the squad after posting averages of 10.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game during the 2014-15 campaign.
Brenae Harris also returns after averaging 9.8 points per game while Janice Monakana is back after recording 8.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest.
Ana Capotosto and Sophie Reecher will add depth after averaging 7.7 and 6.9 points per game, respectively, for the Rockets last season.
Bombs Away
Junior guard Karli Bonar broke the school record for most made three pointers in a season last year with 71. She bettered the mark of 68, which was set by Maggie Gompers during the 2008-09 campaign.
Bonar has made 131 career three pointers at Findlay, the third best mark in school history. She is chasing former UF All-American Kayla Brown for fifth place on the list. Brown canned 138 three pointers for Findlay from 2010-13.
Chasing 1,000 Career Points
Senior forward Margaret Wuebker is looking to become the Oilers 20th member of the 1,000-point club this season. Wuebker has scored 760 career points during her tenure with the program, leaving her 240 points shy of the 1,000-point plateau.
Reaching the 90-Point Plateau
The Oilers have scored 90 or more points 68 times since the 1978-79 season and sport a 67-1 (.985) record in those games. Their only loss came at the hands of Wilmington, who defeated the Oilers by a score of 110-98 in 1985.
Winning GLIAC South Division Titles
The Oilers have won five GLIAC South Division titles since joining the league in 1997. They have captured championships in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2010 and 2011.
GLIAC Tournament
The Oilers have appeared in the GLIAC Tournament five times in their history. They sport a 3-5 record in tournament play.
