Oilers Win 83-47 Over Heidelberg

The University of Findlay women's basketball team defeated Heidelberg University by a score of 83-47 on Nov. 2 in Croy Gymnasium during an exhibition game.

The Oilers shot 51.5 percent (34-of-66) from the floor and drilled 10-of-25 (40%) attempts from three point range in the game. They also forced 21 turnovers and came away with 14 steals.

Sophomore Christa Puthoff led the way with 14 points and six rebounds while junior guard Lynsey Englebrecht had 14 points and four triples off the bench.

Junior Haley Horstman added nine points and five assists while junior Sarah Baer and senior Karli Bonar had six points apiece.
