2017-18 UF Women's Basketball Schedule Released

2017-18 UF Women's Basketball Schedule

The University of Findlay women's basketball team will open their season with three exhibition games. They will travel to Cincinnati on Nov. 2 before facing Dayton on the road on Nov. 4. They will then close their exhibition slate at home against Alma on Nov. 7.

Findlay begins the regular season on Nov. 11-12 at the Lake Erie Challenge in Painesville, Ohio. They will face Wayne State on Nov. 11 before battling Tiffin on Nov. 12. The Oilers will then head to Gannon on Nov. 15 before facing NCAA Division I foe IPFW on Nov. 18.

On Nov. 23-24, the Oilers will be in Puerto Rico for a two-game set against opponents who have yet to be determined. They will then open up Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play at Kentucky Wesleyan on Nov. 30 before another road game at Trevecca Nazarene on Dec. 2.

The Oilers will host Walsh on Dec. 7 and welcome Malone to town on Dec. 9. They will then hit the road to battle Ohio Dominican on Dec. 13 and Cedarville on Dec. 16. The Oilers will then close the month of December with a home contest against Alderson Broaddus on Dec. 19 and a road game at Davis & Elkins on Dec. 30.

Ohio Dominican will come to Croy on Jan. 2 before the Oilers begin a four-game road trip at Ursuline (1/4), Lake Erie (1/6), Hillsdale (1/13) and Ohio Valley (1/20). They will then host Trevecca Nazarene on Jan. 25 before welcoming Kentucky Wesleyan to town on Jan. 27.

The month of February begins with a pair of road games at Malone (2/1) and Walsh (2/3). The Oilers will then close the regular season portion of their schedule with five straight home games. They will host Lake Erie on Feb. 8, Ursuline on Feb. 10, Cedarville on Feb. 13, Ohio Valley on Feb. 15 and Hillsdale on Feb. 24.

The G-MAC Tournament is scheduled to take place on March 1-3 with the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional slated for March 9-12. The 2018 Elite 8, Final 4 and championship event will then take place on March 20-23 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
