Bearcats Beat Oilers in Exhibition Game

The University of Findlay women's basketball team opened their season with a 77-35 loss to the University of Cincinnati on Nov. 2.

The Oilers converted only 12-of-51 () field goal attempts in the game and were out-rebounded by a 45-28 margin. They also committed 23 turnovers and their bench was out-scored 31-7.

Junior guard Jenna Stegmaier led the team with nine points on 2-of-7 shooting while junior forward Anna Hintz and junior guard Elissa Ellerbrock had six points apiece.

The Oilers will have another exhibition game against the University of Dayton on Saturday at 2 p.m.
