Flyers Top Oilers in Exhibition Contest
The University of Findlay women's basketball team fell 91-65 at the University of Dayton on Nov. 4 in their second exhibition game of the season.
The Oilers shot 32.8 percent (22-of-67) from the floor and were out-rebounded by a 51-36 in the game. The Flyers also hit 50.8 percent (33-of-65) of their field goal attempts and had six players reach double figures in the game.
Junior forward Anna Hintz led Findlay with 14 points, ten rebounds and four blocks while senior guard Lynsey Englebrecht had 14 points, two rebounds and two assists.
Junior guard Lauren Ruth reached double figures with 11 points off the bench while junior guard Elissa Ellerbrock and junior center Christa Puthoff each chipped in seven points apiece.
The Oilers will be back in action again on Nov. 7 when they host Alma College in an exhibition game beginning at 6pm in Croy Gymnasium.
