Oilers Start Season at G-MAC/GLIAC Challenge
The Oilers will begin their season this weekend in Painesville, Ohio at the G-MAC/GLIAC Challenge. They will play Wayne State University on Nov. 11 at 6pm before facing Tiffin University at 2pm on Nov. 12.

The University of Findlay athletic department recently unveiled their new online store, shopoilers.com. The online store features more than 1,000 products for Findlay fans ranging from traditional apparel such as hats, t-shirts, and sweats to less common gift items such as jewelry, drinkware, technology skins and items for golfing, tailgating and in-home decor.

Series Information
The Oilers and Warriors have squared off 41 times in their history and have split those meetings at 21 wins for the Oilers and 20 for the Warriors. The teams first met in the 1990-91 season with the Oilers coming away with a 57-48 victory.
In the most recent meeting, the Oilers hosted the Warriors and won by a score of 76-67. Anna Hintz had 23 points on 9-of-11 from the floor. She also led the team with 11 rebounds.
Findlay and Tiffin have squared off 54 times with the Oilers holding a decisive 43-11 record. The first meeting was in 1984-85 when Findlay won 77-36.
Splitting the series last year, the Oilers dropped the first meeting and won the second meeting.
Haley Horstman led Findlay with 17 points and four assists in the win.
Findlay
The Oilers were picked to finish third in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season. The Oilers received 101 points and two first place votes in the poll. They trailed Ursuline, who was picked to win the conference with 115 points and two first place votes, and Cedarville, who had 109 points and a league-high three first place votes.
The Oilers return their top four scorers from last season and are led by senior guard Haley Horstman, who averaged 9.6 points per game. Junior center Christa Puthoff (9.4), senior guard Lynsey Englebrecht (9.1) and junior forward Anna Hintz (8.4) are also returning to help the Oilers put points on the board.
Wayne State
The Warriors went 8-20 last season and will be led by Nastassja Chambers, who is back after averaging 12.8 points per contest.
Tiffin
The Dragons were 6-19 last season and will be led by Ali Schirmer, who is back after scoring 10.4 points per contest last year.
