Oilers Face Gannon/IPFW this Week on the Road
The Oilers will hit the road for a pair of games this week at Gannon and IPFW. The Oilers will play Gannon on Nov. 15 at 6pm and then face IPFW on Nov. 18 at 7pm.

The University of Findlay athletic department recently unveiled their new online store, shopoilers.com. The online store features more than 1,000 products for Findlay fans ranging from traditional apparel such as hats, t-shirts, and sweats to less common gift items such as jewelry, drinkware, technology skins and items for golfing, tailgating and in-home decor.

Series Information
The Oilers trail in the all-time series against Gannon by a 14-11 margin. The first meeting between the two programs came during the 1992-93 campaign when Findlay lost 77-69.
In the last meeting between the two teams, the University of Findlay Oilers defeated the Gannon University Knights 56-47.
Lynsey Englebrecht led the Oilers with 13 points on the strength of 3-of-6 from deep. All of her points came in the second half including nine in the fourth quarter alone. She also had a pair of steals.
The Oilers hit 20-of-61 shots (32.8%) including 6-of-20 (30%) from behind the arc. Gannon shot 17-of-47 (36.2%) from the field and hit just one three-pointer in 12 attempts. Findlay won the rebounding battle 45-35 and forced 20 turnovers.
The Oilers have never played IPFW before.
Findlay
The Oilers are 1-1 on the year and have been led by junior forward Anna Hintz, who is averaging 23.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Senior guard Haley Horstman is averaging 18.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game while senior guard Lynsey Englebrecht has made seven three pointers and is scoring 13.0 points per outing.
Gannon
The Warriors went 8-20 last season and will be led by Nastassja Chambers, who is back after averaging 12.8 points per contest.
IPFW
The Dragons were 6-19 last season and will be led by Ali Schirmer, who is back after scoring 10.4 points per contest last year.
Preseason Great Midwest Poll
The Oilers were picked to finish third in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season. The Oilers received 101 points and two first place votes in the poll. They trailed Ursuline, who was picked to win the conference with 115 points and two first place votes, and Cedarville, who had 109 points and a league-high three first place votes.
Chasing 1,000
Senior guard Haley Horstman will look to become the Oilers 21st member of the 1,000 point club this season. Horstman has scored 795 career points during her tenure with the team.
