Oilers Open Season With 3 Exhibition Games
The Oilers will begin their season with three straight exhibition games beginning on Nov. 1 when they travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to face the University of Michigan at 7pm. They will then head to the University of Toledo on Nov. 3 for a 12pm contest before returning home to host Ohio Wesleyan at 5pm on Nov. 6 in Croy Gymnasium.

The University of Findlay athletic department recently unveiled their new online store, shopoilers.com. The online store features more than 1,000 products for Findlay fans ranging from traditional apparel such as hats, t-shirts, and sweats to less common gift items such as jewelry, drinkware, technology skins and items for golfing, tailgating and in-home decor.

Findlay
The Oilers were picked to win the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season after finishing last year with a 22-8 mark.
Senior Anna Hintz, a first team all-conference and all-region performer for Findlay last season, is back to lead the team in 2018-19. Hintz averaged a team-high 18.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest. She also shot 55.1 percent from the floor and blocked 0.9 shots per game.
Senior Jenna Stegmaier returns after posting averages of 7.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while senior Elissa Ellerbrock and senior Christa Puthoff are back after sporting averages of 6.9 and 6.7 points per game, respectively.
Michigan
The Wolverines finished last season with a 23-10 record. Senior Hallie Thome is back to lead the team after averaging 17.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during the 2017-18 campaign.
Toledo
The Rockets finished last season with an 18-15 record. Senior Kaayla McIntryre is back to lead the team after averaging 16.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest last year.
Ohio Wesleyan
The Bishops went 1-24 last year and will be led this season by Tia and Elea Karras. Tia averaged 10.5 points per game while Elea scored 9.7 points per contest.
Chasing 1,000
Senior Anna Hintz has scored 968 career points at Findlay and is looking to become the 22nd player to reach the 1,000-point plateau in an Oilers uniform.
