The University of Findlay athletic department recently unveiled their new online store, shopoilers.com. The online store features more than 1,000 products for Findlay fans ranging from traditional apparel such as hats, t-shirts, and sweats to less common gift items such as jewelry, drinkware, technology skins and items for golfing, tailgating and in-home decor.

Series Information

The Oilers and Warriors have played 42 games in their history since the 1990-91 campaign and each program has won 21 games.

The Oilers won their first meeting by a score of 57-48 and last met in the first game of the 2017-18 campaign. Wayne State came out on top in that contest, winning 92-88 in overtime.

The Oilers shot 50.7 percent (35-of-69) from the floor while the Warriors converted 39 percent (30-of-77) of their field goal attempts. Wayne State also grabbed 20 offensive rebounds and made 23-of-26 (88.5%) attempts from the free throw line in the game.

Anna Hintz led Findlay with 22 points and 11 rebounds while Haley Horstman had 19 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Lynsey Englebrecht hit five three pointers and finished the game with 18 points while Elissa Ellerbrock had nine points, six rebounds and three assists.

Findlay

The Oilers were picked to win the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season after finishing last year with a 22-8 mark.

Senior Anna Hintz, a first team all-conference and all-region performer for Findlay last season, is back to lead the team in 2018-19. Hintz averaged a team-high 18.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest. She also shot 55.1 percent from the floor and blocked 0.9 shots per game.

Senior Jenna Stegmaier returns after posting averages of 7.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while senior Elissa Ellerbrock and senior Christa Puthoff are back after sporting averages of 6.9 and 6.7 points per game, respectively.

The Warriors went 19-8 last season and will be led by Nastassja Chambers, who averaged 14.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last year.
